R&M Engineering was retained by Forest City Ratner to develop a Conceptual Master Plan for the redevelopment of the 77-acre Nassau Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum parcel. R&M Engineering spearheaded the entitlement process working closely with the Town of Hempstead and Nassau County officials to secure the Conceptual Master Plan approval as well as the approval to construct 388,000 square feet of new retail development surrounding the open plaza. R&M prepared the detailed off-site road improvement plans as well as the detailed plans for the rehabilitation of the vast on-site utility infrastructure.
R&M is providing daily construction management to secure the successful project grand opening on April 5, 2017.
